The Resident’s Group committee meet approximately once every six weeks, to discuss all manner of issues and events. Regular agenda items include:
- Neighbourhood Watch
- Feedback from Residents
- New members
- Feedback from third parties (e.g. Satterley, City of Kwinana)
- Upcoming events and fundraisers
- Ongoing Projects
All members are welcome to attend a meeting, and can have something added to the next meeting agenda by sending us a message through our Contact Page. We occasionally also have guests from the local community (such as the council, developers or neighbourhood watch) attending to discuss matters of interest to the residents.
Once a year (around October) we have our Annual General Meeting, where we conduct the official business required by law under the Associations Act. This includes election of the new committee, a report from the outgoing executive committee on our financial status and recent achievements, membership renewals and important decisions that cannot be approved at a regular monthly meeting, such as changes to the constitution. At our AGM we also invite a range of local community representatives to attend, from organisations such as the City of Kwinana, local police station, volunteer fire brigade and more. These representatives often share important information relating to the estate, and are available to answer questions from residents. It is a great opportunity to meet key people in your community!
