A number of Honeywood residents work in the city. It has been advised that the driving time during peak hour can take anywhere between 50 – 55mins. Please note it only takes 20mins via train from Aubin Grove Station to Perth Underground.
Advice from Satterley is that the footpaths around the wetlands are in fact firebreaks and are required to be at that level for easy access to the dense vegetation during the summer months when the fire risk is high. A boardwalk would not be acceptable for access by fire trucks in the event of a fire. There are signs in the area advising that the paths will flood from time to time.
